While I know that a lot of my comrades tilt heavily towards The Simpsons, I have to say that my favorite social satire show is Fox's King of the Hill, mainly because it is cleverly written and doesn't have all the crudity of Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, etc.
It also does (in its own way) convey a sense of family values and provides a real-world perspective on some of society's excesses and absurdities.

I've heard good things about King of the Hill from several people now. I'll have to check it out sometime.
