I listened to John Grisham's book, Bleachers on audio book and really liked it. It has nothing to do with legal thrillers, it is just a story about a small town with a passion for football (much like the International City or Friday Night Lights), and a legendary coach who is dying. As he is dying, some ex-players keep vigil at the old playing field and remember old stories about their glory days.
I got mine from the Cracker Barrell audio book program... check it out some time.
